Download and Install Instructions: Click above on one of the "wordrace.zip" links to download WordRace. I would recommend you download to your "desktop". The download will take between a few seconds to 10 minutes depending upon your web connection speed. The file downloaded to your desktop (or elsewhere on your hard drive) is named "wordrace.zip". If you do not have software to unzip files, I recommend "WinZip". Click the "WinZip" link at left to download a free version of "WinZip". WinZip will unzip and install WordRace for you. (If you use another unzipper which does not perform the install, do this: After unzipping "wordrace.zip" you will have 4 unzipped files: "setup.exe", "readme.txt", "setup.lst", and "WordRace.cab". Double click "setup.exe" to install WordRace. After installation, if desired you can delete the "wordrace.zip", "setup.exe","setup.lst","readme.txt", and "WordRace.cab" files.) OR Download from one of the "wordrace.exe" links, which downloads a self-extracting zip file. No separate unzipping program is necessary. After downloading "wordrace.exe" to your desktop, double click it. This will start the WinZip Self Extractor program. Click Unzip. Click OK. Click Close to close the Extractor. The WinZip Self Extractor unzips 4 files to your desktop: "setup.exe", "readme.txt", "setup.lst", and "WordRace.cab". Double click "setup.exe" to install WordRace. After installation, if desired you can delete the "setup.exe","setup.lst","readme.txt", and "WordRace.cab" files. You can also delete the "wordrace.exe" file you downloaded, but take care that you are not deleting the installed program file, which is also named "WordRace.exe" (the installed program file has the racing W & R logo).
